If you've had a customer that has stuck with you for over a year, then you definitely need to celebrate that relationship. I've created a workflow here that's gonna help you do just that. So I've created this workflow based on a zebra's subscription. Zebra is one of my favorite apps that allows you to, uh, put Stripe payment information into HubSpot. But really you could create this, uh, using any property that tracks when your client relationship started and then whether or not they're still an active client. Um, so that's what I've done here. The create date is 365 days ago, and then the subscription status is active or past due. Um, I'll get to the past due in a minute. The next step is I've created this if then branch, which checks to see if they're up to date on their payments or if the payment is past due.
And the reason I've set this up is because we really don't want to be rewarding clients, uh, who are behind on payments. So we are gonna treat them just a little bit differently and, uh, you know, hopefully we still get to celebrate, uh, that they've been with us for a year. It just might come a little bit later. So the first branch, if they're up to date, we're gonna send them this email. It's our anniversary. Uh, and we'll include a reward in that email of some sort if they are, uh, past due on their payments. I'm using this delay until event happens. Uh, action. And this is a really cool action because it will delay up to 30 days. But if a certain action takes place before that time, then it's going to just bump them straight into the next step. So for this, we are checking on, uh, whether that subscription status is equal to active.
If at any point it changes to active, then we're gonna send them that it's our anniversary email and they're gonna get the reward. If it's been 30 days after their one year anniversary, uh, and they still have not paid, they're still behind on payments, then I'm creating a task for the owner of the subscription saying to follow up on payment. And then hopefully we can, uh, get them up to date and do more of a, a manual celebration of our time together from there. So that's the workflow. Um, hope you enjoyed it and let me know if you have any questions.

"Steal this workflow" is potentially the greatest HubSpot-related LinkedIn post hook ever invented.
And nobody uses it better than !
So when Stuart messaged me asking if I wanted to contribute a workflow to their new Vault of customer-success-related , I couldn't say no.
Here's the best part. You don't have to be Danny Ocean to steal stuff from this Vault. You just need to visit this website and it's all there for free:
I've included the video for my contribution here, but the site is full of manually curated workflows, so you know you are getting the best!
